GED Preparation Program

The GED Preparation Program provides high school level Math, English, Social Studies, and Science upgrading for youth and adults, 18 and older who want to obtain their grade twelve equivalence in order to pursue employment, post-secondary credit, apprenticeship, or independence. Upon successful completion of the GED exam clients obtain their GED certification which is accepted as equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Individual skills assessments are conducted prior to program entry to determine current skill level for suitable program placement. Assessments may be requested for informational purposes for those wishing to determine their current skill level for job search, training programs, etc.

Hours of operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Wednesdays 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. year round (full and part-time enrolment based on available seats).

Financial assistance may be available to assist eligible individuals with transportation and childcare costs while attending our literacy program.
