Maximum contribution $500 per household per calendar year
Goals & Objectives
- Provide assistance to eligible low-income households in Windsor & Essex County with their energy crisis, who are financially unable to meet the basic human need of heat;
Eligibility Criterion
- All low income households including families in receipt of NCB, seniors (over the age of 60), individuals and disabled persons (must be in receipt of a disability pension) will be considered;
- The utility bill must be in the applicant's name and must match the address of the applicant;
- The applicant must have been disconnected or in receipt of a Notice of Disconnection from the utility company;
- Funding is limited to one grant per season;
- If you are in receipt of Ontario Works or ODSP, please contact your caseworker.
