Description:
Create original print designs and adapt customer-supplied files for production; Prepare print-ready files for digital, offset, and large format print jobs; Perform prepress tasks such as bleed setup, imposition, and colour management; Perform order entry and maintain accurate job details within workflow systems; Communicate directly with customers to clarify specs, provide proofs, and resolve issues; Occasionally assist with social media graphics and marketing design tasks; Support the production team during busy periods with hands-on assistanceQualifications:
- 1-2 years graphic design experience, preferably in a print shop environment; Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); Strong understanding of print production requirements; Graphic design diploma or equivalent education; Portfolio demonstrating relevant work required; Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset; Strong multitasking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; Production experience and familiarity with RIP/preflight software are assets
