Qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year of previous experience performing general functions accounting/finance environment; Minimum completion of a post-secondary two (2) year diploma with a concentration in finance and/or accounting; Ability and willingness to work within and to meet tight deadlines; Detailed knowledge of computerized accounting systems, such as Microsoft Great Plains and ancillary software, such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; Ability to deal with employees and ratepayers in a professional manner; Ability to enforce corporate policies, procedures, and by-laws internally in a tactful and diplomatic manner; Proven skills in providing support to clerical employees in matters related to payroll, drainage accounting and other miscellaneous accounting matters; Ability to work and maintain confidentiality with sensitive personal information.
