Join us as we partner with CBC Windsor for a month-long celebration of community and kindness in support of families in Windsor.

Every year CBC hosts the Sounds of the Season fundraising and foodraising campaign in the month of December. Since 2002, CBC Sounds of the Season has raised over $10 million in support of food banks across Ontario.

As the demand for food banks reaches an all-time high in our community, support UHC – Hub of Opportunities through CBC Sounds of the Season 2023 Campaign to make this a memorable holiday for families facing hunger.

The SOTS Donation Hotline will be staffed weekdays from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, except for December 8 when phone lines will be open from 5:30 am – 7:00 pm.

Participate in the ’12 Days of Giving’  

Want to teach your children about the importance of giving and helping others?

Perfect for families with young children, ‘12 Days of Giving’ is a great activity to prompt conversations with kids about hunger, poverty, privilege, social justice, and empathy.

You can drop off non-perishable donations to our warehouse hub at the UHC – Hub of Opportunities located at 6955 Cantelon Dr. We ask that, if possible, donations are dropped off Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:00 pm. Donors can drive up to the delivery bay doors and are asked to stay in their vehicle while food bank staff unloads the donated items.
