Ready to Work for Newcomers
Runs Monday, December 6, 2021 – Friday, February 25, 2022
This 10 week online Ready to Work Program will prepare newcomers to work in Canada’s Tourism and Hospitality sector which offers many opportunities to work in retail, food services, accommodations, transportation, recreation, events, and many more. This 10-week program will develop and enhance your tourism and hospitality skills, English vocabulary, and awareness of the Canadian work culture and environment. You will earn 5 certifications which are well sought after by employers in this sector, gain the knowledge and know how in the position of choice and secure a job!
Equipment and training will be provided to enable you to participate in this online course.
Eligibility:
- Must be a permanent resident or conventional refugee
- Must have a CLB 4+
- Must be age 18 or over
