Description:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating industrial forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory flow, and supporting shipping and receiving activities.Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment operation standards. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory tracking. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
