Description:
Assist with the preparation and assembly of menu items, including washing, cutting and portioning ingredients, preparing sandwiches, salads, crepes and other dishes. Maintain clean and organized food preparation areas, properly store and rotate ingredients, wash dishes and kitchen equipment, and follow food safety and sanitation procedures. Assist kitchen staff with general prep, stocking and cleaning duties to support efficient daily operations.Qualifications:
- Valid Food Handler Certification required.
- Previous kitchen, food preparation, or restaurant experience considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food-handling practices.
- Ability to follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine kitchen duties.
