Qualifications:

• Post secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management; Facilities Management, Asset Management, Business Administration, Building Sciences; Information Systems, or a related field; Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in facility operations, asset planning, business analysis, capital project coordination, construction administration, or infrastructure renewal; Minimum of three (3) years related supervisory experience in a unionized environment; Demonstrated experience with facility condition assessments, lifecycle analysis, asset inventories, and capital renewal planning; Knowledge of building systems, construction practices, operations and maintenance methods; Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals and groups both within and outside the Board is required; Experience with AutoCAD, Blue Beam, Ebase, or asset management platforms, an asset; Experience in public sector or educational facilities, an asset; Knowledge of ISO quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies, an asset; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
