Join us at our first-ever Pastabilities Luncheon to help tackle hunger in our community!
The reality is hunger exists for those living in Windsor-Essex County, and we need your help to ensure hungry individuals and families can access healthy, nutritious food. Last year, we received over 190,000 visits collectively through the Windsor Essex Food Bank Association (representing 15 local food banks across Windsor-Essex). The need continues to grow as we’ve already seen a 28% increase in the number of children accessing our food banks in the first half of 2023 compared to 2022.
Pasta dishes will be prepared by numerous local restaurants that are sure to temp your tummy! Taste up to three dishes and vote on your favourite while enjoying music and socializing with like-minded people.
Let’s tackle hunger together and help make Windsor-Essex a healthy and thriving community!
Proceeds go to the UHC – Hub of Opportunities Plentiful Harvest Food Rescue Program.
Pre-order takeout also available for large groups until October 10, 2023. This includes one type of pasta (meat or vegetarian) and a dinner roll. Simply select the takeout option, time of pickup and type of pasta once you enter the number of general admission tickets desired.
